My friend was out on a survey crew all day Saturday next to a Ch**y plant. Several guys were driving the new Ch**y trucks over to load on trains. My friend says that these guys were flogging these new trucks, fishtailing them, pretty much driving them like they stole them all day long. Poor suckers buying those trucks won't have to break in the engine, aye . Sure hope the folks at Ford keep a closer watch on their car jockeys.
I guess there should be quality control and more supervision out in the parking lot then. Its that kind of attitude that drives people to buy something foreign. IMHO if you do a job for anyone, you have agreed to work for them at the agreed wage. You should do every job you do as if you have to sign your name to it when done. There is seldom an excuse to do otherwise... and if there is, then maybe its time to find another job if your employer is so bad.
My dad once delivered a load of glass to the Ford factory, wherever they make Mustangs, I think in dearborn. He said they were int he process of building an outdoor shelter for the trucks and parts thats they could not fit into the factory. Which included rolls of steel used in making body panels, complete engines built elsewhere and shipped there. Boxes of complete stereo systems that some of the employees purposely did not inventory. There was a lot going on that you would not want to see.
Originally posted by rebocardo I use to check in cars at Ford and Chrysler dealerships. The vehicles with the worse (lot of minor stuff) damage were the ones sent by train.
I heard kids would throw rocks at the cars on the passing trains. Now they have metal curtains on the train cars.
I delivered to Ford Chevrolet and Chrysler. My assessment Ford plants and workers are the worst. Let me go down the list to validate this. Ford plants MI Woodhaven, Romeo, Dearborn, Livonia, and Windsor OH Lorain, Sharonville MN Minneapolis, IL South Chicago on 109th st. Don’t give me the crap I heard of, or I hope. I freaking know. Of all of the plants Romeo was OK the guy was always nice and kept his cool. Though some of them Livonia. What a bunch of freaking cry babies. They make $25.00 a hour ASSEMBLEING vehicles and bit**. Thinking about it makes me want to sell my Ford. GM was always good to me.
They tested cars when I was there they weren’t abused. Is everyone here edited for content that you cant see the forest for the trees?
All of Fords parts pull out of Mexico and then they’re put together here. I say if these plant workers don’t get a attitude adjustment Ol Bill Ford will be putin em together in Mexico

(Hey sell me a chip so my truck will go faster!!!) Yea I believe that crap. Ill lay it out for you I know the internal workings of Fordmoco. Ford is not putting out the same product with these sissy engines that they were 10 years ago. People are paying much more than ever in the companies history.
