Interion panel template
Hey everyone. New to the forum.
As I remember, companies used to sell patterns for paneling the interior of vans. They were much like a pattern for fabric.
I've searched quite a but but to no avail.
Would any one have any insight where I might be able to find something like that?

Its not too likely anything like that is still available---it would be great if they did, especially for the floor!
There are body builder layout book publications (online) but probably not too useful for DIY needs. Depending on your year I could post a link.
I made my own patterns from cardboard, refining them until I could make finished cuts in material.
Not sure how to help beyond that---perhaps someone else here has an idea----sorry!

I was thinking of making a template out of cardboard as you said as a last ditch effort. Maby the only way.
My father was telling me about these patterns that he had used in his van, but that was in the 70's when vans were the cool thing to have.
I know of the body builder books you are talking about but I believe you are right about it's usefullness*in this application.
I didn't think those styles of patersn were around any more due to the amount of time if searched with no results.
