Hacking / Reprogramming '13 Expedition radio

I have the non-touch screen CD/radio/mpg/bluetooth option in my new Expedition and have decided to not subscribe to satellite radio. How can I program my radio to not walk through those three non-functional satellite bands every time I select the media? Can the radio be programmed to not display those bands?
And another programming issue is, when I am listening to recorded music on my USB memory, the radio automatically switches to the FM band every time the truck is restarted. This second issue may be somehow linked to bluetooth priorities and may prove unavoidable but it sure is annoying. Each time I start the truck, the radio blares forth with whatever station someone was listening to the last time someone listened to FM, and I must: Turn radio off, then on (or the USB option will never appear in the rotation); then push the media button four times, to walk through FM, Sat1, Sat2, Sat3, and arrive at USB. Only then will the radio play the music I was listening to when I shut off the truck. What is the purpose of this arrangement? Default mode is Classic Rock?
Anybody else deal with this, or am I the only guy not listening to the satellite?
