I've been having this problem for awhile now on my 96 f150, when i come to a stop (like 5mph n slower) my whole front end and truck shake. i just changed my rotors a few weeks ago because i thought that was the problem and would fix it. it hasnt tho but i do have 31in mud tires on it and they have worn pretty unevenly due to my shock being shot to hell worn out. so i was wondering if this could be causing my truck to shake like crazy when i brake
Alrighty the ball joints are not even 2 years old so i hope its not that i dont hear any cluncking noises. could a broken belt in tire cause truck to shake
I was going to once i bought new shocks so i wouldnt have to switch the tires back so ive just been putting it off ha but also that's why i made this post because i wasn't quite sure if the uneven wear could cause the problem
Yep, especially with mud tires. Also, you've been misinformed. Bad shocks hardly ever cause irregular wear on tires. More than likely, your alignment is out of spec.
