Still Looks Plugged to Me
Just because it Flowed a Bunch of Water threw don't mean it will cool efficantly
What Really Blows My Mind is an Oil Coolers about 250 Bucks and
I bet you will be EVERY Bit of that Rigging the Plate Oil Cooler
But you would rather Spend that much On a MOD to Work AROUND the Broken Part and Leave the Defective Part in there
SO spend a Bunch of Money to STILL HAVE a Broken truck
The Only thing that May Save this Truck will be Because it has the 2003 EGR Cooler (But everything has its Limits)
"i mixed up some meratic acid and tested a few coolant pieces aka(rubber hose some plate and cast stuff and a old gasket and saw almost no effect on any of it after a good rinse..... so at 15cc a shot i poured it strait into the oil cooler and boy it foamed and foamed for 10 mins then id trickel water to dilute once safe"

Just sayin' Rocky, another 240k miles for $390 don't sound so bad.
The intake gaskets are rubber deals in a plastic frame. No scraping required, most of the time they can be re-used. That would knock the repair down to $250 and a some time. The factory oil cooler set-up works pretty good if it isn't clogged up.
Keep an eye on your oil for signs of water and oil in coolant.
After the Muriatic acid show I would keep an eye on the valley of the motor for coolant leaks. Also keep an eye on the degas bottle for oil in the coolant.
This would be the perfect spot for a "face palm". I'm not sure I understood most of what was done here, but I think Benny summed it up real nice. Lots of waisted time and money... Truck still broke.
said total .20cents a gal and i got a bunch that where leaky for free i live in fl had i used water id have more calcium than coolant... any ways after about 60$ most of witch was fuel my truck is now running perfect ... 188-192 ECT and 188-210 for oil usualy hangs at 197 ... so thanks soooooo much guys for the help i did get but really you 6.0 guys are starting to sound like chevy guys idk lets just slap a bunch of money at it till its all new ! naw my gramps and parents taught me to save everything and fix anything that needed fixed not throw it away and get a new one again thanks guys and ya i know my spelling sucks but did u fix your oil cooler for 60 bucks ya did not think so just so u know i will no longer be useing the 6.0 forms you are all but nice guys
