So I recently swapped a used '02 motor with 170K on it in my E99. Before we put it in I wanted to do a compression test. After we updated the all the o-rings, injector o-rings, melling LPOP, swapped my T-500 on, mocked up the turbo put oil filter on, filled motor, HPOP res, and oil rails with oil, mounted the starter and hooked up the battery. It hadn't ran in a month or two, came from a wrecked F350. We had only turned it over by hand earlier in the project and hit the bump switch a few times to see if it was working before we started the test. Hooked up the battery charger on start and started to do the first bank and killed my 5 year old starter by the time we were done with that side.
Here are those numbers at room temp (about 50°) on the engine on a hoist:

Had to run to the parts store to get a new starter. Which only paid $30 for because I convinced them that I was told my old reman had a lifetime warranty, so I paid the difference between reman and new. After we put the starter back on we ran the other side.

I don't think those numbers are too bad for the engine not being up to temp. What do you guys think?
