hey guys having troubles with my 94 f-150 clutch, im having a hard time putting into gear 1,2 and reverse dont go in easily, 3 is fine and 4th sometimes grinds im hoping all have to do is bleed the slave cylinder. how do i go about finding the bleeder i believe i have a hydraulic clutch?
You will find an opening in the left side (referenced from the driver's seat) of the bellhousing with a hose leading into it and a threaded fitting above it. That fitting is the clutch bleeder.
Before you do that, though, check the plastic bushings inside the cab that connect the clutch master cylinder pushrod to the clutch pedal. They can crack and break and cause the same problem.
