i recently replaced clutch on my 85 f-150 work truck,,to my surprise it won't shift into gear ...pumping the clutch pedal helps but i have bled its several times and still nothing..lookin for any hints to get it back..
If pumping the clutch helps, then it sounds like the master or slave cylinder. If it can't be bled, then maybe it needs to be replaced. I have done it and I did not have a problem getting it bled. I have replaced both the master and the slave at different times.
If you replaced the clutch yourself, let me know what you ran into since I want to do it soon.

hey thanxx for the words of wisdom...BUT I already replaced my sleve cylinder which leads me to believ its the slave master.. a few people told me the other day, when replacing "this" system you should replace the whole thing ..slave cylinder,master...it comes as a one piece from Ford and thats the best way to do it period...
