Personally, dentside, bumpside ans slick all work for me and have been around a long time.
Contoured Side -sounds way too "soft" for these trucks.
I always hated it when the called the sport bumper a contour bumper. I know that is Ford's term, but I think it sounds sissy...
**The first pic has been one of my all time favorite Dent pics since I first saw it. Nice choice Rich! (All the pics of that shoot are great. Nice truck and simply put, a beautiful gal)
Good eye, I have only seen red. The newer mirrors are to odd looking IMO, and also odd to have a gas flap on a HB, I do believe it should not have one yet.
The fact that you did not know where the term "dent side" came from. And I had to get you off track you were trying to come up with new names for 73-79 dent side trucks.
What in the holy mother of dent side trucks were you thinking? lol
Got it? Stick with me now, stay focused, say it one time, "Dent side", ok good now go drink a beer and a shot.
Look its superman....nahhhh just a dent side Ford truck.
Ha haaaa LMAO OK, Countered was "WAY SISSY" but Man you started it! by Posting the Great Contoured Picture of the Girl !!!
There's got to be a Better name than DENT it just sound's like a DEFECT you might as well
call it a CRUNCH Side!! But again there ya Go ( I was driving down the Road in my, CAPTAIN CRUNCH SIDE) they deserve BETTER IMHO
Since this is the thread for explaining names. Can you tell me why Chevys get the "Chebby" term? Is it a common thing in the USA?
Ive heard CHEBBY all my life living in Arizona! does remind me of the joke,
Mexican guy goes to a farmer and ask's if he has any work? farmer says ya,you can go to the back of my house and paint my Porch! Mexican guy come's back a
few hours later and tells the Farmer he is done and says by the way that's not a
Porch its a, Pa Rar Eee..
oOK!! i am Sorry but ya could of come up with something better than That! jmho! LOL
