1987 F250 4x2 automatic swap to 1990 4x2 automatic with overdrive

I have a 1987 F250 6.9 idi 4x2 without overdrive that took a dump on me, I found an overdrive transmission from a 1989 F350 4x2 7.3 will this work and what do I need to do if it does?

It takes some work it is not a direct swap.
you have to wire it in, change the cross member, driveline.
