I have a quick tire size question. I currently have 305/70/16s on my 2001 F-250 4x4 (sans off road package).
I need new tires and am leaning towards Goodyear Duratracs. Right now I have a tiny bit of tire rub at full wheel lock. But I have no problems with this tire size.
The question I have is should I order a 33x12.50 or a 305/70? How much bigger is the 33? I know its fairly close, but there is a difference in price. I do not want a smaller tire on my truck if I don't have to.
i've always been under the impression those two sizes were equivilant, the metric coming in just slightly smaller if you do the math exact... perhaps i'm mistaken? do they even offer the duratrac labeled as an actual 33x12.50 for a 16" rim?
