Quick brake question

Changed the rotors calipers pads and bearings on the front of my 78 f150 I noticed once done the rotors spin but not 100% freely they seem to be dragging. Is this common and will they adjust once used. I haven't done brakes in about 5 years so i can't remember if my last ones free spun after

It is common that they are a little tight with all new parts. The pads need to wear in a little and the calipers get centered. After a few hundred miles of stops, they should feel "normal". Cleaning of the caliper slide points by light flat file application and light grease application helps insure success.

That's what I thought I just wanted to make sure they barely make a full rotation before they stop

Mine also wear in after a couple hundred miles. Not just limited to this vehicle.
