Problem is likely unable to find supplier with a listing for the Ford 66 pickup with a 351 W application. There are header manufacturers who can make headers for specific application, Sanderson, to name one. Understand the 65 thru 78 Ford pickup 2 wd frames are similar if not same. Installed Hooker long tubes for 76 Ford 302 application in the 65 with T18 4 speed. Have a set of Hedman's in the 65 with the 390 and 3 speed, again using a later Ford pickup application. Further, if considering power steering, and/or, front disc brakes probly need to factor that into choice, imagine the later model applications would have the upgrades already factored???? Suggest wait for additional input from member's, particularly with regards to 'shorty' header applications?? Couple issues came into play installing the headers in the 65's; the 302 w/ Hookers there was very little, if any, clearance between the exhaust flange and the engine cross member so I took a 4 1/2" grinder and removed small amount of material. In addition, had to insert the headers on both trucks into the bay before engine was installed. Understand the 351 W sets a little higher than the 302 so don't know how that would factor into choice??? As for exhaust system, suggest decide which then have it done at a shop.
