So is anyone else betting the announcement of the new Bronco will really happen this year? I have read a couple articles about the possibility at the Detroit show.....
i see the same pictures that were circulating a couple years ago are making their rounds again.. i'm not holding my breath. but who knows.. the raptor was kind of a niche market leap of faith for Ford, and look how it took off.
5,000 posts.. that's flirting with whorish numbers.
I liked how he saved it to make fun of Mike.......
I'm thinking if ford does another Bronco it will be F-150 based and they'll wait a year or two after it launches later this year. I did hear rumors that Ford delayed the unveiling next month due to aluminium supply issues.
Ton of buzz about it on the interweb. There is talk of it being based on the F150 for sure, then more talk of the ecoboost motor, the 5.0L and a 4.5L diesel option. I would almost guess that they would have the prototype that we have all seen pics of at the shows to get public reaction of it.
Agreed Brandon, the Raptor took off much better than the lightning did when they released it. But I cannot see this as being an SVT vehicle only, this would have to be regular production to really get some numbers out.
Maybe the end of the Expedition is near and they still want a capable full size vehicle that will attract more of the off road world, they still have the Explorer and Excape for the yuppie market.
