Remote start on 2014 SD

Hey there,
New to forum and was wondering, has anyone added an aftermarket remote start to a 2014 SD? Mine has Ford remote start but, i find it very limited to my last truck that had an aftermarket one.

If it is possible, what parts would i need, besides remote kit?

I got a shop to install a compustar 2 way system in my truck, used the same system in my f150 too. It has never not started for me and it pages me back to let me know it started. I can start my truck at my locker at work were other guys have to try start from the window or don't even bother trying.

You could get this for it and be able to start your truck from anywhere in North America. I installed it in mine and it works great. Here's a thread and video about it.

Think mine was 600 installed, but it's got the alarm and all that stuff, pages me if someone touches my truck or if a door is opened etc. so it was more. I think the same system I have, but just a starter is 180$ on their website...

They have redesigned it since I bought mine, but it would be this one I think

I can't justify the yearly fee myself when a simple Astro start did what i needed.
I just need the cold start option, being able to remove the key while the engine is running.
