swapping bumper covers?
I just bought a 2007 F-150 XL which is 90% identical to a truck I was considering ordering around 2008 as the options I wanted are there and nothing else. Nice radio, A/C, cruise and tilt, 4.6L 4x4 with tow pkg but manual locks and windows. Only thing I do not like is the black grille, and the grey bumper cover, so I will swap those items with OEM replacements to my liking and the bumper cover will be the painted type which I will have the body shop paint the bumper cover.. Is there any difficulty swapping the bumper cover?. The grill looks real easy.. I did a complete '01-'03 front end swap on a 1998 Ranger but the F-150 is so new to me that I don't want to screw it up.. Whoever ordered the truck ordered chrome bumpers and not painted bumpers so the grey cover really does look out of place
