I will be doing the same swap in future and had hoped to use the 77 donor springs to support the 460 donor engine wt, instead of the 66 original ones holding up a 352. Any advice appreciated.

Ride height remains the same if you use the 60s springs; you HAVE to, as the later ones won't work.

I plan on using a 76 front end with disc brakes on my 66 done the measurements and all looks good for a simple unbolt and bolt right in with the 76 springs
Well, they didn't work for me (I wrote the article he's probably referring to). Neither the springs nor I-beams were a match for what was in my '65; the donor was a '79.
Measure first!
That is what I thought you were talking about Ddavidv. Guess I'll find out when I get things apart. Anyone have any input on difference in using older rubber bushings compared to the newer neoprene type? Had a guy tell me to ask around because he said the neoprene ones gave him more vibration and noise and he went back to older rubber style???

I have the urethane radius arm bushings in mine and haven't experienced any extra vibration or noise. I would suspect his vibration & noise came from another source......
