coil spring height question

If you can find any identification markings or P/N's the follow info may be of some use. Learned something new, was not aware different length front coil springs. Purchased new springs, do not recall checking for spring coil lengths before installing. Must be hap hazard luck. This was some time back, suspension and steering perfect.

I don't know if any of the above info is of any use. Unfortunately, the book referred to does'nt provide cross referrences to coil spring size. Perhaps another member can assist and provide that info. Good luck!

Thanks thats just the info i needed. One of my springs still has the yellow paint stripe.
When i got this truck it had a 302 in it that I am replaceing with a 300 six so this lets me know it should have the proper springs for a six also

swapped 302ci out of a 70 Torino for the 300ci and drove it that way for some 25yrs, did not change the springs and never experience front end or braking problems. With disc brake upgrade desided to change them for no particular reason, probably thought they should be getting weak and did not want to deal with front end in again. Glad the info was of some help.
