73-79 hood hinges
Has anyone purchased the 73-79 hood hinges from Dennis Carpenter? I see they are imported - what kind of quality are they? From the picture on their website it looks like they are plated with a gold/bronze plating. What did the original factory hinges / springs look like back in 1978 - weren't they a grey metal color?

I believe they were painted to match the under hood color. I have a few sets in good shape - if you're interested in genuine used ford stuff. Check out my 28(?) page part-out thread.. I'll get you pictures, just ask. -Chuck
