Vibration or chatter while turning under load.

Why do I get a vibration or chatter while turning sharp when I am towing? The bigger the load, the sharper the turn the worse it is.

The hubs are not locked in. I think it is coming from the back.

Have you changed the rear diff oil recently? Sounds like you may need some limited slip additive in the rear diff.

That may be, I was thinking that. Recently I had the emergency brake shoes installed and the mech pulled the axes. Soon after the axle cover plate came loose (he had to have forgotten to tighten them) and oil went all over. But when I went to add oil to the diff, it still came out the fill hole.

Mine will do that to. Rear differential is trying to slip, designed too. What additive do most of you use. Just curious.

This one HERE

If you buys the Mobil one stuff here, it comes with the additive already in it.
I think you should add only 7 or 8 oz then check if it is still binding. Just enough to let it slip a little .
