help

I was jumping my truck because I left my lights on and it turned over a few times now I have nothing no click no nothing 2008 f250 supperduty 5.4

Get your battery checked if its the original, make sure to have it load tested. If the the battery went completely dead then a jump wont help.

Check the wires down on the starter, if they appear to be connected and tight have someone hold the key in the start position and wiggle the wires around. Some times corrosion will get between the wire and the end that is soldered on the end of the wire that connects to the starter and will appear to be ok but has lost its contact enough that the battery don't have the power to make the connection. I just went through this with my 99 4.2 v6, ended up with a new battery BEFORE I found this problem. Strange thing about it was with my battery charger on 55amp start assist the starter would work but without it nothing, not even a click, that's why I thought it was the battery.......
