Ok my truck is a 99 f450 super duty dually. Have been considering doing a super single rear wheel on my dually. Now I know I can do 22.5's but was wondering if anyone knows if there is anyone doing 19.5's that I can do a super single with also?
Main reason for this is financial reasons. Ez pass is charging me a hell of a lot more cause truck has 6 wheels instead of 4. Spoke to a few cops and he smiled and said go for it, I'm sure it will look sick. Kinda like a dragster. Next thing is going to be a 6 speed manual trans. Friend has one and gets 26 mpg. He'll of a lot better than my 12 mpg. Don't get me wrong my trans I did a heavy build on it, but diesel isn't cheap at all

Buddy of mine did it on a flatbed Dodge dually. Converted all four to 33s. It was fine.
We'll I know for sure I can get the 22.5's in classic style and have them in 8 lug so I don't need adapters was just hoping someone knew of a place to get them in 19.5's
You are not being charged for having a dually, the tolls go by weight. Anything over 8000lbs. in PA, is a class 2 toll. My dually weigh 10,200lbs so I am charged class 2 all the time and even when i am pulling my 8000lb camper, I am still class 2. Obviously tractor trailers are charged by axle and or weight. This is for the PA Turnpike and other similar roadways. Now if you are talking about bridges, then sometimes you are charged because you have a dually, more than 2 axles as in towing something or by weight. There are always signs posted as to the amount they are charging.
It would not be worth saving on tolls to change over to super singles.
I live in PA and have a dually and have an E-Z pass and I am not charged because I have a dually. Which EZ pass program do you have, commercial truck or personal vehicle, that could be the difference.

It's a 450 15000 gvw but Ez pass doesn't know the gvw yet. Just going by the fact what the representative at Ez pass told me....

Just get the personal plan, I forget the exact name of the plan, then you won't have any worries. I have had E-Z pass since it came out and have no fees because I have a dually, except on some bridges out of PA, which when I think about it were not on the E-Z pass system.
