Glenn IIRC you installed IH bellowed up pipes, in the mule right?, with them you didnt have those issues, did you?

Almost, I have to finish up the IC pipes on the passenger side and put the rest of the exhaust on. Then a test drive and change the oil. I also never finished the 38 gallon rear tank but that will have to wait until we get back from our trip. Throw on an extra log up there, brrrrr, its even 'cold' down here, LOL

You're leaving this coming week, right? Where did you say you were going?

-20 this morning, so maybe two more logs on the fire!

Going to Tucson Thursday, I probably have plenty of time to put the 38 gallon tank in but knowing me, I'll have trouble and don't want it hanging there. Besides, there is lots to do to get ready. It will be a good test run. Also, not taking the Geo, we are buying a bunch of food down there and I need to use all my refrigerators. I haven't figured out how I'm going to connect the batteries and invertor up to run them if I take off rack that holds my generators and batteries.

I must be about 15° colder in Texas then here. I always thought we would be about the same temp.

Well, I know here in Southern CA we are down to the low low temp of 50*. We do have rain though.

Got it put back together again. I'll never use saddle exhaust clamps again, only lap type band clams. It wasn't any fun getting the exhaust back on.

I started it up and could not shift it, speedo layed on 90mph, brakes lights stay on, could not rev it up, etc. It was time to go in the house before I did something I would regret later, LOL With the AFE, I feel like a 6637 traitor. At idle, it did sound more quite inside.

Would something unhooked in the dash cause that? Like maybe he forgot to plug something in?

It should be a lot quieter inside driving. All that insulation has to make a difference too.

I'll take a good look tomorrow. As far as the speedo, maybe you have to be moving to get it to reset? Another screw up, I had the map and boost ports mounted way to high, what was I thinking, oh, I wasn't thinking. LOL

Man that thing looks good Glenn! It's really really clean looking. I'm a fan!

I'm guessing that something is unplugged under there too and the Park interlock isn't allowing you to take the thing out of Park. That should be a relatively simple fix (though it will involve standing on your head...).

Thanks Nate, I freshened things up while I had it all apart. Hopefully I can take it for a ride today.

Too bad the AFE big boost filter won't fit in that box. I like the look of the AFE stage 2 setup like yours. My SD had the old style AFE stage 2 and I yanked it out for a 6637. lol
