Presently it is 11 degrees here so you would probably be sweating!
What is the coldest temperature that you remember?
I have only lived in Missouri since February 1, 2009 and the coldest I have experienced is 9 degrees above.
Take care

Coldest I can remember? -40 without wind chill. Although when it is that cold the wind doesn't blow much. We did go on a snowmobile ride though... Just have to make sure not one inch of skin is exposed. The 2 stroke sleds run real crisp at -40!
I have seen -20 or thereabouts here in Iowa. It was cold enough that one of the studs in my throttle body shrunk right out of the casting. I wound up putting it back in in the O'Reilly's parking lot with red Lok-Tite and a plastic mallet.

Hello again broke vet
It is a small world as I was born in Oskaloosa, my father in Cedar, me mum in Tracy and my brother and sister in Indianola. All of my relatives were born in Iowa as well.
I know that this is off-topic but I just had to reply.
I guess I was lucky, it was only 2 below for me.Had a concealed carry class yesterday in Perham and ended up standin' outside for 1 1/2 hours to shoot. Guess that's why we still live up here.

Hello cbrown9064
I cannot even imagine what minus 40 would be like. I have a friend who worked in Alaska as a Heavy Equipment Operator and he worked in 60 below temps and he informed me that they leave the engines run even when not using the equipment.
I suppose that there is not much difference between 40 and 60 below!
Yeah the cold can really suck especially if you have to work out side. Coldest I've seen in Mass was -17 but was up in Maine visiting when when it was -20. I was in Duluth Mn back in 1971 with a 56 Ford F1 and it was -25. Kept the truck running that night.
BTW I like your tailgate, I have the same one on my truck.
The coldest (well . . .) I have ever seen was in Korea. I left the heated jetway, went through heated customs after I grabbed my bags at the heated baggage claim, walked outside, out of the heat, to hail a cab . . . and my mustache froze to my face.
I don't have a number for the temperature, but when your mustache freezes to your face that, by any stretch of the imagination, is cold.
Ya know ,I mite try one of the other doors .Sometimes here in MN. a hair dryer works to get one tawed out.Maybe the sun will warm one up enough to get it open. They are rite about the ice on the roads, very dangerous for you and others on the road. The last thing they would want to see is a big red Ford commin' at 'em sideways.
I wasn't going on the road, I was going to the barn. I actually did all of that. I managed to get open both passenger side doors, so I figured I would just drive out to the barn and get out the other side. I turn the key and *click*click*click* Battery was dead. I couldn't find my jumper cables, so I looked in my mom's car and found them in there. I got her keys and started it and ding ding ding ding! Fuel light was on. I couldn't use a hair dryer anyway, the truck was by a huge puddle a little while after I took the pic. And today I get to do it all over again!

Hello and good morning rikard.
Do you remember the old Sears Diehard Battery commercials?
I forget what city they were in but it was damn cold and I believe that they were in Minnesota.
I am probably biased but I think that there was a Ford Truck in one of them.
