not a rant about a thread going off topic.
Perhaps you did not notice the part about grandma. et al.

Take care

I agree. For me, this is an issue upon which we all might be able to improve at times.

Yeah that issue! So there you are having an issue and you search and BAM, you see others having the same issue. You read down the thread and NOTHIN. People telling the person to check this and that and some how there's no solution (which we know there was) or better yet the tread turns into chat about grandma or something completely unrelated. Look I love my grandma, but auto forums are not the place to discuss dads corns or grandmas hip replacement. JUST TELL US WHAT THE FIX IS!!!! Thanks for allowing me to rant. Happy solutionless forum reading.
Hello and good morning

Sometimes we have to be patient and ultimately your truck issues will be solved because of the knowledge and expertise of our members.

Currently, I have 3 new threads without 1 reply but no worries as eventually someone will reply and I will get answers to my questions.

Take care and Godspeed

i saw the part about going off topic and talking about other things,
and still saw it as a rant of the original poster never coming back to say what the problem was and how he fixed it.

You are correct my friend and his thread is no big deal. We are just attempting to encourage and help him.

At least this is my take.

Take care

Some people just don't pay attention, I guess.................
Oh lord! I never mentioned anything about grandmas 67 Dodge Dart or any other particular vehicle. It is a people issue and it happens more times than not. I believe it is where it belongs.

What the heck is with all the hatertots for the new guy?

If it had been a long time user with thousands of posts, I bet attitudes would be a lot different.

Ease up for gosh sakes.

It's all good. Just because I may be a newbie post wise I've been using FTE for years. My problem is time. Crap I have to leave work now to pick up 4 kids at 4 different schools...that's what dads do...right?

Glad you have thick skin my friend. I know most of us here at FTE pride ourselves in being different than other forums, but I'm not so sure this thread is the best example!

Glad its all good in the hood for ya.

Now back to our regularly schedule programming.....

To the OP. I don't see that problem too much in the 7.3 forums.

And if you join The Club, we solve all the worlds problems in there. No thread, or chad, is ever left hanging,,,,,

Though not much mechanical ever gets discussed there.
