parts difference

I have an 03 6.0. I nees to replace the icp sensor. I got a good icp sensor from an 06 engine. I was also able to get an ipr valve as well as a hpop. Can i use these in my 03.. i know there are different part #s from ford, but i was told they are the same parts. Is this true.

Not sure on the ICP and IPR but the HPOP will not work.

You can use the 04.5+ ICP in the early engine no problem. Replace the pigtail too.

Also the 05+ IPR has the finer screen, only difference than the early model.

Thanks i am replacing the icp sensor and the pigtail. I just grabbed anybextra parts i could... wanted to make sure i could use them.

Isnt it the other way around??
05+ has a Coarser screen
Less likely to plug from what I have read

From the coffee book, Page 5:

IPR Valve
• The 2005 MY IPR valve uses a 150 micron
perforated plate edge filter. This is an
improvement from the 200 micron filter on
previous models

Although, I believe the International screen available OTC is 500 micron.
