Frame Coating

Ok I want to coat my frame. I desire the coating to be rust proofing, easy to clean, scratch and chip proof, and as attractive as possible. What do you guys suggest? I have done a search and didn’t find any answers.

Ditto on the por15. Its not cheap but its the best. And who wants to do the frame twice?

Yup about 25 to 30 dollars a can... But it is a beautiful black. Also some extremely tough stuff.

another thing you might look into is a two part epoxy. I'm coating my new axle with it and the stuff is nearly indestructable,,,at 90 bucks for two mixed gallons its not too bad.

Frame Coating

Has anyone used Chassis-Saver from Magnet Paints? I sent away for some info on it and a smaple and this stuff looks pretty durable and easy to apply.

Bryan (BigB, the owner of MyBigBronco) is right in the middle of swapping a late frame under his truck, and he used it a couple of days ago. From the trouble he had getting it off his hands, I think he was really happy with it.
