Steam?

My 2013 Ecoboost has from new, if I spray the grill when washing it or drive in the rain steam comes up from the grill. My buddy just bought a Eco and his doesn't do it at all. Normal? Ideas?

I have not ran my EcoBoost through an automatic wash yet, but my 2011, 5.0 did this, no big deal. It's cold water hitting the hot radiator.
