grill

i saw the post before about grill swapping, but i am confused about the will it fit part, i had a 69 polished grill could i mount it where my painted grill is now or are there a lot of mods required?

grill

i dont think there would be any mods at all for the same year. and maybe just a couple of holes for different models. my truck even has a mid 70's radiator support with a 69 grill in it. It only needed 2 holes drilled to make it work.

"Grill"--something you put charcoal in and Bar-B-Que on.

"Grille"--the front part of a vehicle that covers that radiator and usually houses the headlights.

Actually, grill and grille are variations of the same word.

Neither directly refer to any part of an automobile. I assume it stems from the parallel metal bars seen in a grill or grille.

I know, I know..Shutup Smarta$$...Just killing time.

I am sure there have been grilles used for grills, especially in the old-ford-truck-owner-crowd! Hard to imagine it happen the other way around though.
