Took mine thru a couple mud holes that havent dried up yet in the desert. The Goodyear Wrangler M/T's pull great thru the real thick stuff and sling A LOT of mud. $30 and a hour at the local car wash got it looking good again (bet the attendant isn't gonna like the pile of mud i left in the middle of the bay).
Rockingham area. Vermont Overland puts on a great rally every year up there. They run guided trail runs all summer too. Vermont is laced with legal unimproved class 4 roads. It's tight though! My Ex runs on 35's with a two inch lift and I'm juuuust squeezing through some of the spots.

defenderrack.com made for vans but I extended the roof track with Yakima track and it bolts right up. 5'x9' I bought the bolt together model for ease of install. rock solid!
