OK just one more question. Can I pull the end on/off **** off and put it on my old hub? A buddy of mine had one laying around and the one that's on my truck is much better condition but the end cap is broke
If they are the same exact hub then I would think you could, I would try with your old one first since it is already broke...
On second thought I just watched a video on how to repack the hubs with grease I think I may try cleaning up and repacking the one he gave me and see how it goes
Yes I just want this project to be over with! What a hassle! I installed a 10" lift on my 08 in less time than this is taking
Hang in there. There is definitely a learning curve. I just replaced the seals and hub assembly on my 2000 F250 and it took me most of a day to get it back together due to lots of little issues. Once together I realize I forgot the brake backing plate! It took me about 15 minutes to take it back apart and put it back together once I knew that I was doing.
