Had one of those "running along fine and suddenly died" experiences the other day. Sat for awhile, started ran a bit, died, etc. all the way home (20 miles took 90 minutes). This came unexpectedly as it's run great all year.
Anyways....hooked up the AE etc. Came up with P1316 (IDM) and two CPS P1340 & P1344 codes...Got pulled away before I could continue to play with it.
My question is when setting up the parameters for RPM, Battery level, IPC etc. etc.....is there a way to permanently set the software up to remember and use the same items the next time I hook it up and connect to the vehicle? Or no I have to go thru the selection process every time?
Your symptoms sound like a classic case of bad CPS.
As to your question....I don't know of any way to preload a session where specific PIDs are pre loaded. I would be interested to hear of someone know how to accomplish that.
Tons of great info in that thread. Page 3 post #32 is what your looking for.
Ah-ha...I've read thru that post and somehow missed it. Read a little slower this time and I spotted the "Save Session" option....Kewl
Yeah I'm guessing CPS. I have one in there now that is black and really not that old having been replaced within the last 2 years. Think my spare in the glove box is gray.
I did IPR, ICP, HPOP, injector o'rings, glow plugs and the UVCH exactly a year ago this month.
