I am looking for a spindle for the truck in my sig. Unless I'm dead wrong, it has a Dana 60 Mono beam. Ordered spindle from Bronco Graveyard and got a little 7 incher... I found the Spicer exploded view and part#, but it doesn't come up on any searches. I just keep going around in circles trying to get parts for this GD truck.
Anyone that knows the part number AND where to find it PLEASE let me know... Thanks!
*EDIT* I have been to Ebay, 4x4parts.com, Spicer, BG, etc., etc., etc....
You possibly could have an HD 44 . My question is have you owned the truck since new or buy it from some one the reason asking is the could of done a straight axle conversion and used the 44 post a few pics of the axle . That would help and look on the axle tubes for any stamped numbers and search them.
Okay, so I talked to the guys at Bronco Graveyard and they are hooking me up with the correct spindle. I just bought the truck a month ago. Based on the Spicer exploded diagrams and descriptions I have a Dana 60. I think the 60 was standard for the f350 in 94 as well. Did not verify that with any numbers on the axle yet. Thanks for the help!
I'm with 4x4 I haven't been wrenching that line but you'd be amazed all because they are in a rush and don't wanna wait two weeks and do it right . I know of about five or six trucks still not done cause they didn't wait and vet better parts or broke down cause of just going with what they had.
Boy, I hope I don't run into any "downgrades"... God knows I have run into everything else! Got spindle, got front end wrapped up: Ball joints (4), U-joints (2), Tie rods (2), Tie rod ends (2), Rotors (2), Brake pads (4), Spindle (1), Wheel Studs (8), Lug Nuts (8), Spindle studs and nuts (5) Busted Knuckles (3), Profane Words Used (27).
Stanley Springs is located about 20 miles from my apt, so I had them put on the tires and do the front end alignment and inspection... Failed inspection for the SECOND time, why you ask? Because it has 3 broken @#$%ing LEAF SPRINGS!!! Unbelievable. I never thought to inspect the leaf springs when I bought it. Just didn't think of it. Stanley will make em for me for a reasonable price, but with the parts and another inspection I am tapped out so I am paying insurance on a truck that has done nothing more than sit in the god@$#% yard for over a month and will continue to sit til I can scrape together another couple hundred bucks to dump into it.
