dana axle question
I am trying to figure out if I have a dana 50 or 60 on my truck. I have a 02 f-250 psd 4x4 built in kentucky in november 01.I have heard that trucks with the dana 60 have a sticker on the axle that says 248 along with some other numbers. The sticker on my axle says in big numbers d-282 then in smaller numbers in the corner it says 248. which axle do I have? I hope its the 60, although I know that some early built 02's had the 50. thank you
