1959??? panel truck HELP!!

My uncle gave me this truck and i am trying to do some work on it but have no clue about it? I do have the serial and production numbers off the inside of door jams but have no idea how to decode them can someone give me a few hints?? the only thing i know about the panel truck is that it says F-100 on the hood and he said it was a 1949 once then a 1959 the next time. if any one can offer any help i would greatly appreciate it.

the serial is f10v6u74396 and the production number is 27L220043d thats all i have as of right now

So the truk is neither a 49 or 59 but a 56 thanks so much now that i know that the frame isnt in good shape does anyone know what donor car i coul use to just switch bodies on to
