I have been looking for a supercharger for my 1997/F250 351 and I am really looking hard at the Powerdyne. All under the hood and they claim a 45% increase in hp & torque which would put me at 476lbs of torque. That would be great for me because I just got a 26 foot camping trailer that weighs 5,000lbs.
Also Powerdyne has a promo rebate of $200.00 if bought by the end of 2003. Then I found out if you get on Summitracing's emailing list they give you a 10% savings on all orders placed by the end of July.
IT, you should really concider looking in to a roots style blower like kenne bell. your driving a heavy vehicle and those type blowers dont really produce power in a low rpm range needed to move our rigs. plus powerdyne dont have the best track record. vortech has a nice rebate to and would be a way better choice.
Well, I just ordered the Powerdyne supercharger and a set of hooker shorty headers. I called powerdyne and they claim the supercharger will produce more low & midrange boost than the others....
I can claim that I know Karate, but proving it , thats hard.
Be careful, Some of these places will tell you just what you want to hear just to make a sale.
I can't tell you to cancel the order because of what they said, but I did not like how that came across.
The best way to go is to have a real exhaust driven turbo installed. Those will make power as soon as you step in the gas, not after you get to a certiain RPM.
