Help

06 f350. Highway driving. Going up a slight hill. Icp. Good. Rip. good. Eot 185. Coolant temp 180. A loud pop/bang. And a whistling a sound. No codes. Motor running smooth. Hooked up AE. Power contribution. Good. Still have turbo boost. But sounds like a turbo with open intake

Check your CAC tubing and intercooler closely.

What controls irp? Engine light on. P2290. Irp opening up to 85

Do you mean the IPR is going to 85% during normal driving? If so, that would normally indicate a leak in the high pressure oil system.

Is the P2290 the only code?

Yes still driving. With full throttle the icp won't go above 1800 and irp is at 85. At idle icp is 580. 2290 is the only code. 250 miles into a 1000 mile road trip. Motor seems to be running ok
