56 Ford bed measurements needed
Gentlemen,
One of our members from the other side of the world needs our help.
The member, capelo, from Spain is trying to get the bolt hole measurements for the bed crossmembers and the rear bed sill. His parts look like swiss cheese and he's not sure which holes are original and which ones have been added.
Here's what he has now;
Here's his original thread;
https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...-measures.html
Can anyone here help him out?
Thanks guys
Bobby

I can take some measurements tomorrow night, I have my bed apart and have a new rear cross member, so would be easy to measure.

Excellent! I'd really appreciate it and I'm sure capelo will be most grateful.
I can't imagine trying to put a truck together oversees without the great parts network we have here in the states.
capelo....no problem. Thats what this site is all about

No problem, just let me know if he needs additional pics or further clarification, will probably have the bed apart for a couple more weeks.

Cool
I'm not sure what the time difference is between here and there, probably won't see a posting from him until tomorrow.
Thanks again

Now, if only we had a metric tape measure, or maybe we need to send over a fractional one.
Good on you for taking the time to help, David.
