1990 460 big block
Hi all, I just wanted to get your guys opinions on EFI 460 big block engines. Mine right now is at 317,000km's and I was wondering how long your guys engines are lasting and just your thoughts on the engine in general, pros,cons, etc.

317k? Thats awesome. If it hasn't had a rear main seal replacement in the last 100k miles it will most likely need one soon. Also with that sort of mileage a top end rebuild wouldn't necessarily be a bad idea. Better now if you can have the truck down for a week than being stranded if you blow a ring or valve goes out.

My old church van growing up had a 460 in it. One top end rebuild and 3 rear seals over 25 years and 600k miles. I swear the almighty himself must have blessed the crank and rods
