Ford Cummins Conversion Video

This is my 99 ford f-250 Super Duty with an 05-07 front end conversion that previously housed a Triton V10 gas motor and automatic transmission that i converted to a 12v Cummins turbo diesel and a 5 speed manual. Hope you enjoy the video.

How big of a job was it to pull off the front end conversion? Did you have a good set of instructions or were you winging it?

No i didnt have any instructions. Once you have the 05-07 header panel in place everything bolts up rather easily

That is way cool. I had a 12v Cummins in a Dodge truck about 15 years ago. It was an "ok" truck but an outstanding engine! A little noisy by today's standards but pretty much bulletproof.

Well done!

Very cool!, how hard was it for you to swap in the cummins? Been wanting to do a 12v swap for a long time, any mods done to it or is it stock?

Just takes some time and fabrication. I had to run new lines and install a draw straw in the fuel tank. make all the motor and transmission mounts, cut the floor out for the transmission. I actually used the stock ford transfer case and drive lines just had to change the input shaft on the t case to match the dodge tranny. and the a lot of odds and ends and making the stock gauges work. Only mods are the afc arm is cut, took the fuel plate out and put a boost elbow in plus exhaust and intake
