Cummins Conversion

Cummins Conversion

I have a 1985 Ford F250HD 6.9 Diesel 4x4 4 speed i wnat to do a cummins conversion in it. I have the time and money to do it any suggestions on what to do? Where to get some good conversion parts and stuff?

this is something i have been looking into and pricing for awhile now, destroked.com seems to have the best products, but i dont think that i would start with an 85' f250.... 95 CC with a 460 would be a better bet.... imho

Try autoworld in Montana. They seem to have many positive comments.

you might want to check out a small 4 banger cummins of the l ikes of a newer 6 banger for that conversion. we did a chevy c1500 with one and it worked out fairly nice after the bugs got worked out and we goosed the motor to almost 350hp.

it's just light and small enough to fit nice but still more power then what you have.
