I own a 03 f-250 superduty 4x4 with the 5.4 gas and about 147k miles.
Things that haven been replaced. Fuel filter, fuel pump, camshaft sensor, all spark plugs, 2 ignition coils (#4,7) and ECM replaced. My remote start has been removed. That was a genuine ford part. Belt, battery replaced. Alternator was tested and checked ok. Also the ignition switch has been replaced.
Here's my problem that I have been having for about 3 months. My buddy and I have crawled all over this truck inside and out and can't figure this out.
While driving or sitting at the stop light, my engine dies. Just shuts off, doesn't start right away but about 1-3 min later will start. Dosent matter how far I go( 500 ft or a couple of miles) it will have an epidosde. I live about 15-17 miles away from my work and it does this about 3-6 times each way. No codes thrown or stored and no check engine light during my episodes. Any suggestions on how to fix this problem will be greatly appreciated!!!!

Reason: Need more descriptive tittle
The only help I can offer is to put more description in your title. Nearly every subject is a request for help of some sort. Add "5.4 dying at random" or something to that effect and you may get more help.
I ran into the same thing last year. I replaced everything u did and then some. It ended up being the fuel pump relay which is built in/integral the the central junction box/ main fuse panel. Replaced the panel for 450$ and issue was resolved. Id like to kick the engineer in the nuts that had the idea of building that relay in the cjb. Anyway 450$ to fix instead of 4.50$. I took me a long time to chase it down hope this helps.
mine was doing something very similar, I cleaned out my iacv. it was very easy, just used some carb cleaner let it soak and put it back on and has never stalled again. also no more fluctuating idle. I would try that before doing anything else.
I'm having kind of the same problem with an 06 5.4 the difference is it starts back up immediately and stalls less frequently. I was getting maf code and replaced the maf. Now I Don't have any codes but it stalls when I rev motor in park and after 1/4 throttle there is a big lack of power and hesitation. Fuel pressure is always between 39 and 40 psi. Sorry not trying to hijack your thread but I put my problem on another board with no reply. If this is a problem I will delete my comment.
