DJMs 3" drop, no need for spindles or removing anything other than the lower arm.

Same measurements, Purchased thinner rims and tires, hope to lose 1 1/2" there, if not, sell em and they make custom offsets anything I want, just double the price, we will see.

The drawback with 3" dropped lower control arms are, the spring pocket will hang 3" below the actual control arm, possibly below the "scrub line" with 15" wheels and the static angle of the upper control changes severely, causing a change in the "camber curve" of the front end's geometry. It can also lead to upper ball joint bind and grease boot failure.

I had the option of 3" control arms on my S-10, but chose 2" spindles & 1" springs.

Friend has them and has had no issues, 18" wheels going on, drop spindles will also lower the control arm down as well and the wheel isn't centered between the arms, front riding now on lower part of wheel.

Can always install all new everything down the road if any issues.$$$

Not trying to be argumentative or critical, my friend, just sharing my knowledge of lowering GM truck front suspensions. You're right, with 18's you'll have no scrub line issues, and glad to know your friend has been running them with no issues.

I'm curious as to what rim size and back spacing you are using up front. I had to narrow the tracking 4" and running 15x6" with 3 1/2" back spacing.

Please let me know how it works out. Before I purchased the modular spindles my tires were touching the fenders, the new spindles brought them in 1 1/8" but rubbed when turned lock to lock which prompted me in purchasing the narrowed control arms and went with smaller diameter tires (27" tall) .

Will do, tires won't be here till hopefully sometime next week, have everything else and should be warm enough to get at it this week.

It's going to be close, and with the new springs not sure exactly where it will sit as far as height goes, but should be close.

My tires are 25.6" in height and 8.4 section width.

Finished the front, wheels came in wrong finish, put them on to see fit and drive around the block, rear not done yet, waiting for right rims to come in so I can get it to the spring guy. These are polished, ordered chrome. Sits nice now and front tire clears fender.
