Dorman makes a hinge pin kit for the 2001 F150's, their p/n#38461---might be available from Amazon----Oz has a version right?
eBay Motors here in the USA have numerous new OEM hinges averaging $45 USD each, not sure if most sellers would send to Oz without banging you hard for shipping. A couple of places that I've bought machinery parts from, slam you for a "funds transfer fee" as well . A year or two back when the Aussie dollar was above parity, $1.05 Au > $1 US 
, it didn't really matter but now after the credit card fees and an exchange of around $0.91> $1.00 US
