OK, I *moved* this thread into the HOWTOS subforum.

Can't issue reps to BG350 again, apparently I did that recently and haven't spread the love enough yet....

Perhaps I should do this to mine. My headliner sags, if you push up you can feel the foam just smashes and doesn't come back. My current material is good, so maybe I could get away with re stretching it, and getting rid of the foam underneath.

really probably not worth the hassle, materials only cost around 20 bucks, so why risk having it fall right away again stretching the old material.

would make more sense to just replace it to me

That's what I was worried about. When I would go to stretch the old material. RIP. With my luck, that's what would happen. I just need 2 yards of medium blue fabric material.

Do you think two yards is enough for a super cab? Also, would any other material work?

Just get the stuff with foam lining...

The places on Ebay sell kits for crewcabs.
2 Yds is more than enough for a super cab.

I was thinking leather or a vinyl with leather detail. Might look good.

I just used stock material,

Went to local upholstery shop and got headliner material, most will even be able to match exact with a color code.

as for supercab size, I am not sure, all the ones i have done have been regular cabs,

I usually get 2 and a half yards because I worry I wont have enough lol then I always have a ton extra

How thick was the material? was there a backing of some sort on it?
It does not look like just a plain sheet of material.
Thanks

Headliner material usually has a 1/4" foam backing.

Nailed it. And you gotta make sure to get all the old leftover foam off the board or your new headliner will not last
