My truck has had a lean on the front drivers side for a long time now. I've tried everything I could. So today I got under it disconnected the sway bar links from the bar, I then attached the side that was not leaning just fine. The side that has been leaning did not match up at all. I took my jack and jacked up the link to where it would meet the bar and it took care of the lean. However when I lowered the jack so did the truck. Is this a bent sway bar and I need a new one? Could this really be the problem? Also the screw from the link to the bar is going to need to be replaced its so flat and theads are done. Any suggestions.
It would be nice to know what the OP's truck is without doing a search!!
That's what I did not want to hear. Lol. Would it be a bad idea to put an extra spring or something of the sort on the sagging side
I'm sure they didn't come from the factory with a sag. So I would think an additional leaf on on side is more of a band aid. Maybe look into an aftermarket leaf pack. I'm sure that Rancho makes one for stock as well as lift applications.
Have you determined that the leafs are causing it?
This is common especially on the diesels. Heavy front, torque from pulling, spring rates are normally slightly different to compensate. A new set of custom springs, or you could rotate to the other side. I think this is especially am issue on the crew long box and crew short box, as the wheel base is longer than super cab short box. Pro comp has a front lift and I wonder if the springs are side specific, that would be the one to use if your replacing the springs and shocks.
I did a little google search on the sagging superduty springs and it DOES seem like a "common" problem that's not side specific.
Wwell that kinda throws a wrench in the gears with everyone saying drivers side

Agree
Im going to measure mine next time its Parked on leval ground
Then Look at "Miles" Truck he did a Lift and it sagged a Day later
And Iv been thinking what on the drivers side would be so Heavy and unbalanced to cause a SAG like this??????
You guys/gals see anything that would think drivers side is Unbalanced??
I don't think so the springs look good and I just replaced them about one year ago. But they are different heights.
What??
Should they be Diffent Heights??
Shouldn't those front leafs Look Identicle???
IIRC where the leafs sit on the axel was little different side to side (Or I should say they Only looked diffrent but the Elevation should be the Same though shouldn't it) Hard to say
