Hello all.
Glad to be here.
does anyone know where to get, or the dimensions of the radio bracket that goes from the rear of the radio to the firewall? I have a radio for installation but no bracket. Thanks in advance for your kind replies.
Best regards,
Tony

Welcome to FTE!
You'll have to provide more information about what you need. What year is your truck? This forum ranges from '48 to '56 trucks, and there are many differences in parts for that spread.
Also, where are you located? There may be someone near you who can save you shipping costs or just plain help out if you need it.
A little off this topic but check out the two spammers' list of posts and they're either a simple "welcome post", which from booth look the same or posting about their inventory or great prices. I say "SPAM" and have reported their posts. If I'm wrong sorry, it just looks like it to me.
In order for alamartina to get replies to his inquiry I moved this post from the New Member Introductions forum, 1ATony did not reply to this forum. Sorry for the confusion folks.
51 Panel Man,
Is the adapter kit actually part of a collection, or is it for sale? If not for sale, can you share the dimensions of the rear bracket and the speaker bracket.
Thanks much,
Best regards,
Tony
It's part of my collection and will eventually be installed into one of my trucks. Hopefully, before then, Dennis Carpenter will use it to make reproductions.
I'd have to pull it down from my storage and try to provide you with the info.
It's hard to imagine DC, or anyone else for that matter, spending the money and resources to repro something with a demand that limited. There couldn't be ten people in the world actually needing that kit over the next 20 years.

I'd be surprised if there are 10 original radios in working condition left in the world. That said, there's precious little in the kit that can't be made at home.
