I found this cruising the internet and thought I'd pass this along. Every once in a while folks here in the forum start wondering how to mount a extra battery on the frame of their truck. This company makes it easy, it seems. Maybe it can solve someones' rproblems.
The one Sheperd shows is the van version, 2008 -2010. Even though I showed the aftermarket battery box in the main link above, I am running the same type of battery boxes that shepherd shows for my auxillary batteries.
The only big thing the aftermarket have going for them is they will take standard size RV/Marine batteries which can have a higher amp rating.

Price for this seems to be around $135 (ish) - at that price, its probably a pretty good deal if it installs pretty easy.
I installed the E-series van battery tray on the frame of my F350 and it was a PITA to drill the holes and get it fitted up correctly, and the box cost $50 plus shipping. I'd gladly pay $135 if this just clamps to the frame easily!
I can move the Air but WTH is that cylinder thing next to it ? can that be moved ?
I seem to remember someone saying it's a carbon canister or similar. Others have moved it, but if memory serves you have to also cut into some other mount (seem to remember it being white plastic) and move it over some to properly fit the battery tray.
