I put rainx on the windshield for the first time this past Thursday. Had to drive the length of Mississippi with 20' of trailer.
Never seen the wipers do that before then. There is some sort of sensor on the dash in the middle of the windshield. Maybe it can "see" the rain now with rainx? I'm just guessing.
Going to hit the windshield with a hose when I get a chance to check.
Mine does that every now and then. No known reason excerpt there is a delayed wipe setting on the app screen on dash. I turned mine off awhile back and come to think of it it hasn't happened in awhile. Maybe give it a try.
OK it turns out I'm not going crazy and the truck does not have auto wipers.
I don't drive it that much, first time I drove it when it wasn't raining I found out the wipers just decided they didn't want to turn off. I had to pull the fuse.
Truck has 23k miles and this is the sixth time its been to the dealership for warranty issues.
I'm just glad its not my daily driver and I don't make a living with the truck.
man i thought it had auto vipers. when you turn the **** all the way towards yourself they are supposed to be completely off. if i turn it one click i think its kind of like auto?
