Heat Shield on evaporator box missing
heat shield on passenger side of engine bay that protects the a/c evap box from downpipe and exhaust manifold fell off and is missing...
Ford does not sell it seperately so the question is do I need to worry about fabbing up a replacement? Thought about using the peel and stick heat shield from DEI.

I certainly would figure something to prevent the box from melting. If you don't tow you may never have an issue, but those downpipes get HOT when under load! I would see about fabricating some sort of metal plate to put between the two.
